Derek’s Dive Domain

Well, today was a hockey day. Following on from my Saturday teams 5-0 stuffing in Market Harborough yesterday, I played for my Sunday friendly team over in Nottingham, and we played out a good 3-3 draw with a team called Chestnuts who are one of the better teams that we play on a Sunday. We actually led 3-0, but they came back strongly in the second half to get the draw, and we were holding on at the end.

I made one save that I really enjoyed, a full length diving tip around the post with my stick, from a shot that was wrist flicked right into the corner of the goal. I wish there had been a photographer around to get a picture !

Anyway, I’ve just logged on to have another go at fixing these links, and then it will have to be an early night as I have a busy day ahead at work tomorrow (boo hiss!)
